Method 1: Fours

The Fours Method is a mindful breathing technique designed to help you calm down and reset, using your mala beads as a guide.

It works like this:

  • Start by inhaling deeply while moving to the first bead.

  • Then, hold your breath for four beads, advancing one bead at a time.

  • Next, exhale slowly as you continue through the next set of beads.

  • Repeat this cycle as needed, but always make sure to fully exhale before beginning a new round.
